MR report error message "CAUTION: The above total doesn't match the account balance record"

We have a client using Management Reporter and running a Wholesale Consolidated Incomce statement report. She gets a message at the bottom "***CAUTION: The above total doesn't match the account balance record". What could be causing this error message?

    I am getting the same error on one of my reports.  It only occurs when you drill down to transaction level on one column.  Instead of returning the amounts just for the one column it populates all columns with the data from that column.  It does not update the totals which is why the error is coming through.  Have you had any luck sorting out this error?

    Microsoft said this may be resolved by upgrading from MR2SP2 to MR2012. I hope this helps.

    This is occurring on Management Reporter RU4.

    Carolyn & Phil - I got this error as well in 2012 RU4.  I changed the Provisional on the report from 'Posted' to 'Unposted and Posted' and it worked.  I then installed the RU4 hotfix out already, then went back and changed the report to 'Posted' only and this fixed the issue.  Hope this helps.  Installing RU4 can be interesting.  Mike

    Unfortunately this did not work.  I did install the RU4 hotfix as well.

    We are using GP2013 with MR2012 CU8 All GL opening balance in MR is wrong

    Above scenario will occur (when extracted with posted + unposted option).option it prints posted/unposted transaction but Opening balance is wrong.

    Also Appear CAUTION: The above total does'nt match account balance record on each ledger when print cl.bal.

    If anyone has knowledge to resolve the error please let us know.
