How to use serial numbers and variant codes?

Hello,

does anyone know if it is possible to use variant codes within serial numbers - like through a stock access?

Normally the item tracking lines are used to provide the serial number - but there it isn't possible to use the variant field - can't enter data.

Did I miss something? Thank you!

Hi,

When you create any Purchase order after selecting item please select variant no. of it. after it, enter Serial no. on Item tracking. Once you post the transaction you can see Warehouse entries & Item Ledger entries with Variant code.
