Close inventory period - Adjust Cost – Item Entries

Hello everyone,

Some backgorund, we went live october 1st 2021 and now we want to close the inventory period for the last trimester of 2021. The problem, we have not run the Adjust Cost – Item Entries batch in a long time and we hionestly just want to close 2021 and have a fresh start. We use average costing.

We cannot run the Adjust Cost – Item Entries because we dont have time; our operation is 24/7 and we can't tell users not to work just to let the Adjust Cost – Item Entries batch run. It will take ages to cost October, November, December.We just want to close these threes months and start running the cost of January, february and catch up.

Any suggestions on how to close the trimester, make the cost run faster.
