Have anyone setup the Inventory visibility add in and used a csv file import as a data source?

Source is just described as "Each data source represents a system that your data comes from." And examples are D365 & POS. Can anyone confirm if we can import a csv file as a data source? (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/supply-chain/inventory/inventory-visibility-configuration#data-source-configuration)
