Hello,

I'm trying to test some products we use against the new Dynamics GP 2010. I can't seem to locate any registration keys within the MSDN subscribers site however. Am I missing something?

Thanks,

you mean you're looking for MSGP2010 registration keys?

if you are using the test company Fabrikam, you  dont need regs keys.

In order for the testing here to succeed I have to use a snapshot of our live environment. I can't use the sample company data. I'm a little surprised that the MSDN Subscribers site shows no registration keys for GP2010 when I have them for all previous versions of GP.

You should be able to find the registration keys on CustomerSource or have your Microsoft Dynamics GP partner submit them to you.

My MSDN Subscription was purchased direct, not through a partner. (I won't buy through partners again. oh the horror). I'll see if I can log in through CustomerSource, although I've never done this so I'm not even sure if it's set up or not.

CustomerSource isn't liking me. I assume it's because it's never been set up. Nonetheless I think we are making the decision to not upgrade to GP 2010 at this time since we are unable to test our products against it. It doesn't look like Microsoft will be providing much help here so.

     Thank you for your time.

    pfrabott,

You can restore your company's data over the TWO database. Force a restore and you should have what you need for testing.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie

Well, that was the first thing I tried before posting here. It worked up until the point where I opened the program after the forced restore. It was overwriting the product keys with the ones we have in GP 10.0. This was invalidating the license. This makes me think that the product keys are stored in the database somewhere (probably encrypted). I'm gonna take a look inside the database on Monday and see if I can find them. If I can I'm gonna see if it's possible to export just that table, do the restore, and re-import and see what happens. But I got to find the table first.
