Inventory quanitity negative

Help needed,

My inventory on hand quantity is in negative quantity

although I have checked model group, item also physical quantity is off but still why the negative is present.

Can you please elaborate a bit more? Is your physical negative quantity turned off ? & your total on hand quantity is in negative?

Hi SheikhSS,

There could be multiple reasons for that,

Item model group physical negative is enabled.

Batch tracking blank issue allowed is enabled.

Physical negative by warehouse is enabled.

Please check these also for a certain can you tell if its negative for a single warehouse or every warehouse.

Hi Sheikhss,

On the Storage dimension group assigned to the Item, do you have any lines which are Active, but on which Physical inventory is not ticked? (Same question if the Item has any Active Tracking dimensions).

Only for a single warehouse is negative & for the rest is fine

How to check if physical negative for warehouse is enabled.

Physical inventory for Site/warehouse are checked.

Tracking dimension is not active

Hi Sheikhss,

Check the settings of warehouse.

Go to > Inventory Management> Setup> Inventory Breakdown > Warehouses > Warehouse tab> Negative inventory.

Please check if they are disabled as well.

I just checked, It was turned on, I have make adjustments to the current balance and turned that off. Thank you so much for the help
