Data Impact on new UCI

Hi guys,

Just want to confirm with if data gets affected when transitioning from the web legacy client side to the new UCI. I believe it's only a UI upgrade therefore data should not be impacted.

Is this correct?

Thanks

I have the same question (0)

Thank you Andrew good to know.

Are you aware of fields disappearing after the transition. I have one missing from my user entity when my TEST and DEV environment after the transition was done.

I don't remember anything about it. So what field is missing?

We had a custom field on the user form entity and on TEST and DEV after the upgrade the field has disappeared and MSFT support is quite slow at looking at the issue

Did field disappear from form or it completely disappeared? What type of the field was it?

I don't have any ideas and I believe Microsoft is your last resort because this is not the way migration to UCI should work.

The only thing I can think of data related is the address composite fields no longer appear as fly outs.

So they will appears as individual fields on the forms ie Street 1, Street 2 etc..

Metadata (so entities and fields) and their data are not affected by the Unified Interface transition.

As you called out, this must be a user interface rendering issue that I encourage you to troubleshoot with the help of Microsoft Support.
