Wrong unit cost value

Dear team,

I have detected an inusual behaviour on the Items when the process of:

Create item -> Make a purchase order -> Transfer Shipment between warehouses (both: send & receive) -> the shop sells the product so it's the Sales Invoice.

I attack a excel/csv where we can see the Item Ledger Entry or Value Entries too, of the item and the unit cost changes abrupt without a movement(or I can't see it) of change of the price.

Any help will be really good.

Wrong unit cost value

Costing is deep concept . It works on costing methods .

To ensure you get a valid costing , hope necessary report , setups are configured

Inventory Setup

If you dont want to change your unit cost , and costing to be posted . Do the setup

System gets unit cost on below formula in value entry

Unit cost = (sum of Cost Amount Expected)+(Sum of Cost Amount Actual) / (Sum of Item Ledger Entry Quantity )

You can apply formula in your excel and check . If you dont want unit cost to be updated then follow below step

Ensure if you need cost to be adjusted then below repot to be run . This will impact Value entry

Post inventroy Cost to Gl . This will impact costing in General Ledger Entry

** Note do above in sandbox for one item and confrim with client its meeting as per requirements .
