Hi everyone,

I need some help.

I would like to have reverse date calculation in General Journal (to auto-reverse the journal on the next day) instead of using Recurring General Journal as each month accrued expenses vary between account number and amounts, which not recurring but purely one-off. There are plenty of accrual each month with different account number and amounts.

I have no idea how it can be done.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Not sure how You are using the Reccuring journals now when You feel it not matching Your requirements, but the Recurring Method with the text Reverse in it does this automatically - auto-reverse transaction on next day. If the same amount has to be reversed, then choose the Reverse FIxed method.

The recurring method, after post the recurring line, account number etc remain there (exclude the amount).

Each time after post, need to delete the lines as it not recurring transaction which involve same account number.

Any way to auto-delete the line after post?

You can create the line with Expiration date the same posting date - that way the line gets deleted after posting.

I did enter the expiration date same to posting date, but the line remained there.

    Any other option available?

    Hi,

Any update on how to setup for recurring journal with expiration date the same posting date - so that the line gets deleted after posting?

Currently, Cronus setup recurring journal with expiration date the same posting date - the line NOT deleted after posting.

    Thank you
