CRM On Premise and ADXStudio

I have a deployment of three CRM instances all are on premise and would like to use ADXStudio to create my Internet Portal and I have been told that Microsoft has stopped selling an on-premise version of ADX. My question can I use ADXStudio to build a non CRM portal that interacts with CRM to enable users access via the INternet, if not what are the alternatives.

That is correct that Adxstudio licenses are only sold on an exception basis and must be approved. ADX is a CRM based portal, all of its routing is based off of data in CRM, so without a CRM there is no ADX Portal. Other alternatives for portals that can connect with CRM would be The Portal Connector with Sitefinity, as well as Peak Portals.

Hi MikePem,

+1 for Colin's answer. We have tried to get approval for multiple projects to use AdxStudio in Australia without success. Next best alternative solution is The Portal Connector with SiteFinity.
