sharing views with roles?

Hello - I know how to share a view with specific users. However, is there a way to share a view with a specific role?

For example, if I want all users with MyNewRole to see the views then I'd like to be able to set that permission at the role level as opposed to having to explicitly share the view with every new user as he becomes associated with MyNewRole.

I noticed in the UI that there's a way to share views at the Team level. Can someone explain the concept of Teams in CRM, the relationship between Teams and Roles, and if sharing views with Teams is the closest concept to sharing views with Roles in CRM?
