Microsoft CRM 4 support of Windows 8 & Internet Explorer 10

Is there any way to work with Microsoft CRM 4 using IE10 browser over Windows 8? I have just made a little test, at first attempt the web form of CRM does not pops up, and using Compatibility mode it opens but links does not work.

Any ideas?

    I have not found a way yet. Hoping Microsoft rolls out an update... Still showing TBD here: support.microsoft.com/.../2669061  Most companies will not want or can't upgrade to CRM 2011 at the moment and with PC manufacturers shipping systems with Windows 8, this is becoming a problem. Also, this prevents purchases of tablets, etc. because of the lack of support for CRM 4.0. Please post back if you find a fix and I will do the same.

    Apparently this article has now been updated.... showing that Update Rollup 22 for CRM 4.0 will be compatible with IE10.  support.microsoft.com/.../2669061

    Does anyone know when Rollup 22 is out?

    I spoke with a Microsoft Engineer yesterday from the Dynamics Team and he said Rollup 22 for CRM 4.0 is scheduled to release on Thursday, January 24th. He said it might be delayed a week if they have unforeseen problems, but it is coming out.

    Official word from Microsoft Engineer, quoted from email:

    "I have contacted the development team in this regard.

    I am informed that there won’t be an Update Rollup 22 for V4.  The volume of bugs for that version have dried up, so at the moment so they are not planning any more updates for CRM 4.0.

    CRM 4.0 is not supported on windows 8  and IE 10.

    IE 10 is being considered for CRM 4.0; it would be a while before anything is released for the general public."

    we have the same issue but with Windows 8, office 2013 and IE 10 on a workstation. Strangely enough we have a windows 7, with IE 9 and office 2013 and email tracking is working in crm 4.0. So is this an IE related issue ??
