Can anyone confirm if opening a workflow (not activating or amending, just opening to view the steps) in a production environment with managed solutions, would create a solution layer on the workflow? or is it only when activated or amended that a solution layer is created?
We have imported a workflow a few month ago within a solution, we then updated the workflow in Dev and imported a new solution to Prod, these changes (we believe) were working as expected. We have now noticed that it no longer works and when checking the workflow it has reverted to the original with a solution layer, this has been removed and now working again, could opening the workflow in Prod just to view cause the solution layer?
