Hello Team,

Could you clarify, does Microsoft Dynamics Navision support the Customer/Child partnership?

For example, can I create a Customer and make it as the parent according to another Customer?

Hi, I think there are three situations,
    1. When the order is the parent company and the shipment is the child company, you can refer to NorthW's answer.
    2. When the order is the parent company, and the invoice and payment are the child company, you can refer to Steve's opinion.
    3. If it is only a reference field, it is recommended that you can add a new field.

    Hope this will help.

    Thanks.

    ZHU

    Andrew,

Yes. You create a Customer Card for the Parent. Then you can create Customer Card for the children and on the Invoicing Fast Tab enter the Parent Customer No. in the Bill-to Customer No. field.

    Thanks,

    Steve

You do not have a full blown parent child relationship. But you can group customers together and you can also setup that Customer A receives all invoices for sales orders to customer B. So you have a sell-to and invoice to and ship-to relationship between customers.

When it comes to contacts then you have the parent child relationship you are looking for.
