Restrict User Groups to access specific profiles

Hi Guys,

Can I please get some guidance on whether a user group can be restricted to access only 2/10 profiles in the my settings page?

for e.g user AB belongs to the user group D365 Accountants (copy) and should be only accessing 2 profiles (business manager \ accounting manager).

Is this possible without customization?

    Create a permission set with a security filter and add that to the group. You could have multiples for each scenario. Table 2000000178 contains the data used for the page displayed to the users when making the selection

    Hello JAngle

    Thank you, however it did not work. The source of this table is temporary and maybe it is not holding the security filter. I created a new security filter (profile) with only one table data and applied the filter on Role ID. I had to do the same on a copy of another permission set D365BC Full Buss Access to ensure the restrictions were consistent. It has not worked unfortunately. I checked the effective permissions to ensure there were only 2 permission sets granting the access to the user.

    Still with permission sets why not limit pages. Each role centre is a page. The temporary table might still be filled with all but only specific ones can be accessed for usage

    I fully agree with this point. I would like to do the same. It is not satisfying to have to do it through security filters. I want to filter the available option in the my settings pane for a given user group.
