Sync Orders in Shopify Issue

Hello Folks,

I’m trying to sync orders from Shopify to Business Central using the default Shopify connector.

Specifically, I want to import only those orders whose fulfillment status = "Fulfilled", within the date range from 01-Jan-2025 till the current date.

Has anyone implemented this kind of filter or customization using the standard connector? Any guidance or workaround would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your help!

    Hi,

You can't use built-in “Fulfillment Status” filter today but you can use tags + date as a clean workaround, or add a tiny extension if you want it native on the request page. GitHub+2Microsoft Learn+2

    What you can do  is
    1. Shopify-side workaround (no code in BC): Use Shopify Flow to auto-tag orders when they reach Fulfilled. Then in BC set filters: Tag = @*Fulfilled* and Created At = 2025-01-01..T. docs.it.integro.pl
    2. Light BC extension: Expose the Fulfillment Status from the staging table on the request page and add a filter in the sync report so only Fulfilled orders progress. (Small AL change.)

    Hello,

You can’t directly filter Shopify order imports by date in the standard connector.
However, you can filter by Fulfillment Status = Fulfilled in the Sync Orders from Shopify request page.
For date control, filter manually in Shopify Orders to Import or use tags/last-sync boundaries as a workaround.
Automation is possible via a scheduled sync job.

    Regards,
    Oussama

    Hi,

The standard Shopify connector does not support direct filtering by fulfillment status or date range during sync.

You can try using Power Automate or Azure logic apps to build a custom flow that pulls orders from Shopify using its API with filters (fulfillment_status=fulfilled, created_at range), then pushes them to Business Central via its APIs.

    Thanks

    Hi
You could add the idea of this new requirement to the ideas portal; likewise, I think you could rely on some external solutions to "filter" what is requested. Ideas
