Dear Community
i hope to find someone, who has already experience with this... or even testet out before...
My customer has chosen DirectAccess years ago because they are still running Windows Server 2012 today. This is not supported by "Always on VPN" (which i recommended to follow up)
They need therefore to migrate all server at least to 2016. Windows Server 2012 will be supported until October 2022, so that will not be an issue until 2022.
The other problem is that "Always on VPN" does not support AD group policies.
Regardless of the two VPN solutions from Microsoft, this should be the same in terms of performance - right? My customer has had good experience with Direct Access and already about 50% of the necessary licenses.
What are your experiences with the D365 BC and Direct Access or "Always on VPN" ?
I have not yet considered the web version, only the client installation. I am convinced that the web version is an added value for employees who work via VPN.
Are there any empirical values here or solutions, which I can recommend to my Customer?
Thanks in advanced for any help.
Greetings, Corinna
