How to set generic resource as Project Manager in project record

Hi experts,

I have created a Generic new resource called zz_ProjectCoordinator and activated it with the Project Manager role.

Now, when I go in my project record and open the Project Manager field, I cannot see the zz_ProjectCoordinator value.

Am I going wrong somewhere or is it not possible to select Generic type users?
