How to control which field values get pushed to opportunities on Lead Qualification Process?

So out of the box I see there is a Lead to Opportunity qualification process. If I wanted to either edit some of the fields that exist on the lead form or create new fields which would show up on the qualified opportunity, how would I do this?

Thanks. It says Leads to Contacts though, will it work for Lead to Opportunity too?
