Cannot use an @ symbol in a lookup

I just wanted to report this bug for my own due diligence. If you have a Entity with an email address as the primary field you will have problems selecting then in any 1-n lookups in other entities. When the lookup is typed in or entered using the quick list the guid becomes all zeros. You will need to go all the way into the lookup dialog and select and add the lookup. The error produced on save of the record will note a permission issue.
