Once, a long time ago, I thought there was a set up to have a Sales Person with a Sales Manager.
Running on GP2010 and GP2013 and I am missing it somewhere.
Help.

Bill, Are you sure you were not using the Territory field?
As Harry mentioned, sales manager can be setup only on Sales Territory and salesperson will be assigned with a territory.
That's definitely the territory manager as Harry implies initially, which is practically picked from the sales person lists.
I am agree with all. There is no field available for Sales Manager. You can setup Territory manager and need assign it to salesperson id.
Thanks all - I guess I was remembering something from GPA where a Salesperson could be assigned a Manager and the Manager could also earn a commission from the sale.
