DLP Access issue

Hi All,

We need your suggestions here

Problem: We have Email Configured with D365 CRM, but due to DLP policies at the Org level(Sensitivity label is mandatory), we are not able to send the emails to the Org outside the public. Is there any solution without changing the DLP policies we can send the emails from CRM?
We have created Power Automate with the Send an email v2 connector still not able to send the emails.
I have the same question (0)

Here are the few which you can implement

    1. Use a Dedicated SMTP Relay (Outside Exchange Online)
1.1. Instead of using your org’s Exchange, configure Power Automate or CRM to send via a third-party SMTP service (SendGrid, Amazon SES, Postmark, etc.).
1.2. Since these services are outside your org’s Exchange, the DLP rules won’t apply.

    2. Service Account / Shared Mailbox with Exception
2.1. Some organizations create a dedicated service mailbox (e.g., no-reply@company.com) and request IT/security to exempt it from DLP.
2.2. This allows CRM to send externally while keeping the rest of the org protected.

    3. Power Automate + SMTP / External Connectors
3.1. The standard Outlook connector respects DLP.
3.2. But if you use the SMTP (Premium) connector or a third-party email connector, the flow can send external emails without going through Exchange.

    4. Azure Communication Services (ACS)
4.1. Microsoft’s official alternative for programmatic email sending.
4.2. Can integrate with CRM/Power Automate and is not subject to Exchange DLP.

    5. Hybrid Approach
5.1. Let CRM create the Email activity (for tracking and audit).
5.2. But the actual send-out happens through Power Automate via SMTP relay or ACS.
5.3. This way you don’t lose email history inside CRM.
