Is it possible to change a production order's status from Released to Firm Planned?

    once a production order is released, it cannot be directly changed back to "Firm Planned." The system does not allow reversion of the status to a previous stage like "Firm Planned" after it has been released. However, one workaround is to cancel the production order and then create a new production order with the "Firm Planned" status. Be mindful that this approach may affect any related inventory or transactions linked to the released production order.

    Hello,
     
    No, in the Standard Business Central it is not allowed to reverse the Production Order Status. You can Finish the Prod. Order from Released but Not Firm Planned.

    No, As per my knowledge it is not possible to change status from released to Firm planned. Standard BC not allow to do so. You'll require technical help to achieve this.

    No, it is generally not possible to directly change the status of a production order from Released to Firm Planned in Business Central. The standard functionality only allows moving the status forward. You cannot move a status back in the sequence.
