No permission to create or run scheduled tasks when correct dimensions

Hello,

In Business Central online version 18.0 there is a great new function that allows you to correct dimensions values in G/L entries for a posted invoice. Apparently to do so you need special permissions to be able to make the changes. I have 'super' rights, but that is not enough. I can't find which rights I have to add to users so that they can used this possibility

When I try to correct the dimension, I get the error "You do not have permission to create or run scheduled tasks" . In the Advanced Settings of the Edit Dimensions Window I can see it is on Codeunit - 2583 - Dim correction validate. But looking at the error message, I think there must be a more global permission on running scheduled tasks in general, only I can't find where.

Someone knows how?

Kind Regards,

Kristien

FYI, now it works. There were 2 reasons why I didn't get if work before:

    - I tested with a global admin user that we use as partner on our customers tenant. A global admin user does not have rights to run job tasks.

    - you need to add the special permissions "D365 DIM CORRECTION" to the user that may do this action

I use an addon called Dimension Manager - its really good, allow for individual corrections or bulk batch corrections

    Kristien,

You are playing with a Cronus play company or an actual subscription? The reason is that I recall Cronus has limitations and you have to make sure you have an Essential License, minimum, to run Job Queue attached your user name on a subscribed database.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve
