404 Error When Trying to View Power Automate Flow on Workflows Page in BC

I am encountering a 404 error when trying to view a Power Automate flow on the Workflows page in Business Central. When I click the button on the Workflows page, it redirects me to the Power Automate page. The Power Automate page opens, but the screen shows a 404 error from Power Automate. The link itself opens, so there is no problem with the link, but it seems like it cannot connect to the specific flow.

I have the same question (1)

Hi there! Good morning, evening, or afternoon - depending on where you are :) Hope you are well today!

The issue you're describing typically occurs when there is a mismatch or disconnect between the Business Central environment and the Power Automate flow. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:
    • Verify the Flow's Environment: Ensure that the Power Automate flow is created in the same environment as your Business Central instance. A mismatch in environments can lead to connectivity issues.
    • Check Flow Permissions: Confirm that the user accessing the flow has the necessary permissions in both Business Central and Power Automate. Lack of permissions can sometimes result in a 404 error.
    • Validate the Flow's URL: Double-check the URL being used to access the flow. If the flow has been moved, renamed, or deleted, the link in Business Central might no longer be valid.
    • Re-link the Flow: If the flow is still active but the link is broken, try re-linking the flow to the workflow in Business Central. This can be done by editing the workflow setup and re-selecting the appropriate flow.
    • Clear Cache and Cookies: Sometimes, browser cache or cookies can cause issues with accessing Power Automate flows. Clearing them might resolve the problem.

It may be a standard problem, I checked the standard code, this just opens the external link through the client type and id. Perhaps the URL structure of Power Automate has changed, but the BC side has not been updated yet.

    Thanks

    Hi,

This could be a standard error. Please check your M365 Admin and permissions to see if anything has changed.

    Thanks
