    I think you need to explain what operation you were performing when you received this error message in order to get accurate advice..

    A few places to check and some questions

    1) What is you BC version?  Check this article and see if your version mentioned here  support.microsoft.com/.../error-message-when-you-post-a-sales-invoice-for-a-lot-tracked-item-in-microsoft-dynamics-nav-tracking-specification-entry-no-number-already-exists-6bdbe3e3-868e-2aab-ee6b-0ae0082bdebe

    2) When do you receive this error?

    3) Go to table 336 (add table to the end of environment url, try below link first) and find Entry No 42765. Then see if you can find any info there that help you with this error (such as SN or lot or etc).
