I run out of the box fixed asset excel (preview) report in BC. I got this error. what can be the reason and possible solution.

Missing permissions – Ensure the user has access to fixed asset tables and report generation.

Excel add-in issues – The Excel integration might be broken. Try re-authorizing Office 365.

Corrupt layout – The Excel layout file or the dataset might be malformed.

Second, the problem you're experiencing is a bug due to the V26 update. A temporary fix is to go to My Settings and change your time zone to one with a positive UTC offset (e.g., UTC+1, UTC+2) instead of a negative one as in my screenshot below. This will stop the error message from appearing. Microsoft is aware of this issue and its going to be fixed in one of the upcoming minor updates.

@Sohail Ahmed it helps me in understanding the testing process. I tested the system thoroughly. thank you for your help.

The error is because, a time zone with a negative offset is chosen, this report and aged accounts AP/AR Excel Report does not work. However, selecting a time zone with a positive offset resolves the issue.
