Hi Community,

I would like to find out:

a. if I want to create a web service in Navision, do I need a developer license?

b. Also if I want to create a web service to post data from a 3rd party application, say Postman to Navision General Journal.
Is there any existing web service in Navision I can do to achieve this?

c. Can you also recommend me the steps to create a web service in Navision?

Appreciate your help!

Hi, if you just need to publish an existing page or Query, no development license is required, this is done directly on the client side.

But if it's a new page, or you need to add new fields, this requires a developer license.
Also, don't forget to enable Odata Service in NAV Administration.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.
    ZHU
