UPRCC batch - No Transactions

(0) ShareShare

Our payroll clerk mistakenly deleted the transactions from our UPRCC batch in the Financial module. I can clearly see there are transactions associated with the UPRCC by looking at UPR30401. My question is how do I "restore" my transactions to my original UPRCC batch or how to I create another UPRCC batch with those transactions?

    Hi Kieth,

It sounds like your clerk deleted the general ledger journal entries that were passed to it from the payroll module. There isn't an option to recreate the batch, but you can do it yourself. If you have a backup of the database from before the transactions were deleted, you can restore it under a different database name and then import the entries from the deleted batch into your journal entry tables. The tables holding the journal entries are Gl10000 (unposted header), GL10001 (unposted distribution amounts). Once you've got the entries restored, I would run check links on the transaction files - amongst other things, that will recreate the batch IDs for you.

    Leslie,

Thank you for the reply. I actually lucked out and had just restored my DEV environment so the batch was there. I was able to print the Transaction Edit list and just had my Controller make a manual Journal Entry.

Great! That's the best answer yet.
