Hi all,

I'm setting up BC for my client to go live in June 2023.

My client sells products in multiple colors through B2B2C dealers. Colors black/white/grey are free and special colors are a discount-free fixed fee.

Example: Black product costs €1000 for the end-customer and a dealer has 50% discount so my client earns €500 for this product.

The same product in pink would cost €1100 for the end-customer but the dealer would not have a discount on the extra color fee, so my client earns €600 for this product while the dealer earns €500.

We would like to add this product ABC with multiple variants (black/grey/white/special). If a client wants the special variant, we should automatically add an item charge for color without discount.

This needs to be done automatically since they work through a webshop for the dealers.

Anyone knows what my options are here to set this up?

Thanks in advance!

Regards,

Kevin

Making the assumption that your client is billing the dealer. If you set pricing and discounts based on variant, you should get the results you want.

Black product price $1000, discount 50%

Special color product price $1100, discount 45.45%

Hi, I think this can use Item Variant (login color) and
The Sales Line Discounts function does it. You can have a try.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.

    Hi, I appreciate your advice.

Your proposed solution works for 1 article where you calculate the discount for this specific dealer (€1000 basic product with 50% discount +€100 color equals 45,45% discount on the total of €1100).

This becomes a problem once you have +5000 sellable items and +2000 dealers with all different discounts.

Any other solutions you can think of?

    Thanks!
