Microsoft Dynamics GP (Archived)

Inventory Stock Status User does not have access to run the report

I have a user who has full rights to the Inventory module, however, when they try to run the Stock Status Report they receive and error that they do not have rights to run the report.

How can I resolve this?

    The access to this report exists under security task  (RPT_INV_001* ) This is included under the following security roles:

    • CUSTOMER SERVICE REP*   
    • LIMITED USER - INV*     
    • OPERATIONS MANAGER*     
    • ORDER PROCESSOR*        
    • PURCHASING AGENT*       
    • PURCHASING MANAGER*     
    • SHIPPING AND RECEIVING* 
    • WAREHOUSE MANAGER*      

    Recheck the user security roles and task, or create a new customized security role granting this security task.

    Mahmoud,

    The user had RPT_INV_001*.  The problem was the client had AIT Advanced Inter-company Transactions installed.   I had to give the user access to those reports and windows as well.
