Commodity code dropdown menu not opening, help required

Hello all, I have been dealing with this issue. I have never setup this, this was done before I took over the position. Nevertheless, I realized there is one legal entity where this doesnt work, I get this message when I try to open the dropdown menu to select a commodity code for a released product.

Specified category hierarchy is not valid or is not active.

The setup looks fine, but I havent been able to figure out what is missing. The category is active and available for all divisions, one of the codes as example:

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hi There,

Make sure to map the Category Hierarchy you are using to Category Hierarchy Type "Commodity Code hierarchy":

And then, under Foreign Trade Parameters, setup the Category Hierarchy

And give it a whirr ... :)

Should have mentioned that the Foreign Trade Parameter is Legal Entity specific.

When you go to the Category hierarchy role association page, is this hierarchy linked to the type Commodity code hierarchy?

Thanks Andre and Danny.

All was there, except for a small little detail: what was missing is the setup in Tax parameters as Danny mentioned, that was the only missing thing. Highly appreciated :)
