Hi,

I'm in a fix to migrate 2015 CRM to online. Any pointers to the steps and cleanup involved?

Thanks.

    Hi Venkat,

This is the suggestion to the migration process from CRM On Premise to Online:

    1) Create an Online environment for testing.

    2) Perform the import of the local environment customizations to the new online environment.

You can use this information to export/import solutions:

    www.microsoft.com/.../export-your-customizations-as-a-solution.aspx

    www.microsoft.com/.../next_import_solution.aspx

    3) Perform validation of code using Custom Code Validation Tool 2015:

    www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx

    4) Here some possibilities of migrating your data:

    - You can Export all your Data from CRM On-Premise through custom reports into Excel Data or CSV files, finally re importing them into CRM Online.

Please access the links below to find info about data export/import through ui:

    www.microsoft.com/.../import-accounts-leads-or-other-data.aspx

    www.microsoft.com/.../export-data-to-excel.aspx

    - You can write a custom application, or a custom script through the SDK available to download at:

    CRM 2015:

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../hh547453.aspx

    - You can search the CRM marketplace or the web for specialized Partner Solution, who can do the migration for you.

    Hope this helps.
