Add new Cash Register

I need to add another cash register to the RMS Ver2.0.

The Microsoft partner is not around any more and this is the second owner of the business. So there are not much of licensing docs around.

I have the Installation ID number for POS that is working now but i am not sure if I can use the same for additional lanes.

I would like to know if there is a restriction on how may register lanes can be added and how to find the information about this.

    Hi!  Do you know how many "lane" licenses you have?  I have a Microsoft Dynamics RMS Change of Partner form that I can send you to find out if you do not know (please let me know via kevina@rite.us or 208-994-9404). Once the Change of Partner form is completed, we can see what the options are. Note that you must be current on annual software maintenance to add additional RMS POS "lane"licenses or pay a lapse fee of up to $940 per lane.

    This is a simple two step procedure.

    First open Manager > Database > Registers > Register List

    Click on Copy button

    Number and Name the new Register

    Verify the peripherals attached

    Save the configuration

    Second, open Administrator

    File > Configuration > Register Tab

    Change the register number > OK

    Exit Administrator
