Inventory Transfer Journal - Is there a way to upload from Excel?

I have over 2,500 lines to move to new bin locations as we have just moved to a new site and re mapped our locations.

so far I have done 250 lines but this has taken around 4 hours keying it in line by line so I am hoping there is a shortcut.

    Hi,

    The OOB feature is to upload the transfer order, would you like to use it?

    Or try to use new feature grid control to Pasting from Excel: docs.microsoft.com/.../grid-capabilities

    And the last way is to customize a new entity with the table InvetJournalTable and InventJournalTrans.

    Thank you for your response.

    This is not for a transfer order as we are not shifting to another system site (we changed physically location at the site the inventory is already in)

    Hi Kiwi,

    Like Mattguo mentioned, you can try the new grid capabilities to paste the information. I haven't done it on inventory journals myself.

    There is no data entity for transfer journals. It should be customized. You can also vote for an existing idea about this topic on the ideas portal: experience.dynamics.com/.../

    Thank you, I have sent this info to our BA team to identify what they can do.

    I keyed it all in manually in the end, 9 hours well spent at night infront of the TV. lol
