Bulk archive and delete of open Purchase Orders and Sales Orders

Is it possible to select multiple Purchase Orders or Sales Orders and bulk archive and delete them.

Some PO's or SO are partially shipped or invoiced and cannot be closed or removed from the list.

What is the solution of selecting multiple, archiving and deleting them to clean up lists?

In Business Central, there is no standard functionality to bulk archive and delete multiple Purchase Orders or Sales Orders at once, especially if they are partially shipped or invoiced. Each order must either be fully processed or manually deleted if no transactions exist. For partially processed orders, you can manually update remaining quantities to zero (by closing the lines) and then archive them one by one using the Archive feature before deletion.

Alternatively, you can use the Short Close Order add-on from AppSource, which allows you to short close outstanding Sales Orders and Purchase Orders. This will automatically set the remaining quantities to zero, effectively closing them and removing them from the open order list.

Namaste ,

There is no provision for Bulk archival of Sales Order , Purchase orders . For Bulk Archival it will attract customization

Found some Reports for deletion of Orders in case of partail shipped, invoiced.

Do this activity in sandbox , if found ok then proceed for production

Hi,

Business Central does not support bulk archiving or deleting POs/SOs out of the box.

For partially processed orders, you must manually close remaining quantities and archive individually.

Bulk archival or deletion requires customization;
