Error Encountered While Upgrading from BC 14 to BC 25

We are currently performing a data upgrade from NAV 2015 to Business Central (BC) 25.

As per Microsoft’s documentation, we have successfully converted the database from NAV 2015 to BC 14, which serves as the intermediate step before moving to BC 25. We are now in the process of converting from BC 14 to BC 25.

However, we are facing an issue when running the Sync-NavTenant command. Below is the error we encountered.

It would be really helpful if anyone who has come across a similar issue could share their insights or possible solutions.

    Hello,
     
    Your Sync-NAVTenant error usually means the BC 25 service tier cannot keep its SQL connection alive.
    This is almost always caused by one of these:
    Most common causes
    Wrong database name in the BC 25 server instance.
    Database not converted with BC 25 Invoke-NAVApplicationDatabaseConversion.
    Service account missing db_owner on the database.
    SQL timeout too low (increase SqlCommandTimeout).
    Running the command from the wrong PowerShell module (must be BC 25 Management).
     
    Most common fix
    Convert DB with BC 25 tools
    Give service account db_owner
    Increase SQL timeout
    Run:
    Sync-NAVTenant -ServerInstance <instance> -Mode ForceSync -CommitPerTable -Force

    That usually resolves it.
