Automatic Deactivation of Users

Is there a way in CRM 2011 to automatically deactivate a user after a certain number of days of inactivity? Is it possible in a workflow for example? And is it possible to send them an email or something to warn them that their account will be disabled.

    Go to Settings->Auditing and enable Audit User Access. Then you can write an SSIS package to schedule for daily and read Auditing and do whatever you want to do.

    Hi,

    I think you should create a batch scheduler job.

    Because your days of inactivity, what rules do you want? CRM does not know the criteria according to your case.

    Create a Console app then register as a task scheduler.

    It is the easier way :)

    not without a lot of customization and a windows task and console app

    It could cause you problems because if someone went on holiday for two weeks and you deactivated him he wouldn't be able to login to CRM

    Unless you have an issue with the number of licences I wouldn't recommend this
