OPEN WINDOWS ON 2 MONITOR

Dear,

I use Microsoft Dynamic Navision on 2 monitor, one session on the monitor 1 and one session on the monitor 2.

When I open an object, for example an production order on the monitor 1, I have the list on monitor 1 but the production order will be show on the monitor 2 instead that on the monitor 1 as the list.

Are there the possibility to setting Navision that all that you open on the monitor 1 will be show on the monitor 1 and all that you open on the monitor 2 will be show on the monitor 2?
Thanks

Fabrizio

    Hello,

Good question, one of the monitors is probably configured as primary? I assume you do know have to move windows around from one monitor to the other?

Does this happen to other WebBased apps as well?

    Thanks.

    Hello,

yes, a monitor is configured as primary and I haven't this type of problem with the others program.

I can manage the opening of the windows on the monitor that I can decide to use for that program.

In Navision if I use only one session  and try to open for example a production order, this will be open on the monitor 2, I move the windows from monitor 2 to monitor 1, close the window, open again the same order production and this will be open again on monitor 2, this  don't happen with the others program

The problem is very annoying because you open the production order on the monitor 1 and you can see the window order on the monitor 2, and then you open on the production order for example the list of the components and this window opens on monitor 1, and if you go ahead the windows open once on monitor 1 or monitor 2 without logic.

    Thanks

    Best regards

    Hello Fabrizio,

I did the following using my SaaS tenant (if you are using an OnPrem release, I can test that as well).

Session 1, logged on using my own user account on monitor 1:

    Open Sales Order List

Open Session 2, logged on using my own user account on monitor 2:

Open Sales Order List, Sales Order

Note that I am using Edge browser with work profiles, so I started each Edge session via Browse as guest.

Sales Order list is still on monitor 1, the sales order is still on monitor 2 and other sales orders to be opened on that monitor ar always listed on that monitor.

I can also Open this page in another window and then move that page to monitor 1 to monitor 2 and from there scroll to the next record.

    Hello Marco,

    thanks for the support!

I can't understand well what  do you  did because I don't know how is a "tenant Saas".

I understood that you have open 2 session in mode that  one is independent of the other.

I can't work in this mode, I work in Citrix Workspace and I can open one session and in this session I can open 2 session of Navision.

    Hello,

Tenant SaaS is the cloud version of business central (no OnPremise installation). We do not use Citrix Workspace. Does the scenario work without using Citrix Workspace if possible, at all to test?

Maybe someone in this forum that also works with Citrix Workspace can provide some helpful answers?

    Thanks.
