Importing booked invoices with Configuration Packages

We want to migrate some of our clients from older custom Business software to NAV.
I want to import older Booked Invoices (table 112) and their Lines (table 113) with 'Configuration Packages'.
When I try to apply the data from the imported excel file I get the following error: You do not have permissions on TableData Sales Invoice Header: Insert.

The user I am trying to do this with has a Dynamics 365 Business Central Essential license and the SUPER Permission Set. He also has a user-defined Permission Set where I explicitly set those rdmi Permissions for the Sales Invoice Header and Sales Invoice Lines.

We tried changing the license to Dynamics 365 Business Central Premium, but that didn't work either.

For reasons of numbering we want to import them directly into booked invoices, so we really don't want to import them as orders or invoices and then book them.

I have been able to insert, modify, and delete records by running a custom CodeUnit, but we are afraid that by imorting the invoices that way we will be missing some of the Business Central background processing, such as validation, that takes care of relations and other background data.

Thank you.

Currently, there are no other way than the one you also prospected / discovered.

    Same answer as per

You cannot import data in that tables. These can only be populated through postings procedure or you have to import sales invoices first and then post them.

If you wish to have this design changed in a future release, the appropriate way to go is to create and vote in IDEAS site, choosing Business Central

    Ideas (dynamics.com)

the more vote the entry gets higher are the chances product group might take the entry into consideration.
