Closing and adjustment

Hi all
 
I want to make an adjustment on a costprice on a on-hand value on a closed period. When I post the change I get the error meassge: /Adjustment cannot be updated because the open quantity or value has been changed./
 
Any suggestion of why and a solution?

    Hi,
    Before you adjust on-hand inventory, it must be closed. And you need to first perform the inventory close then close a financial period.
    And You can use the Adjustment of on-hand inventory page to adjust the cost value of on-hand inventory quantities after an inventory close process is run. Note: To open the Adjustment of on-hand inventory page, on the Closing and adjustment page, select the record of a completed inventory close process, and then click Adjustment > On-hand.
