I am unable to download any updates from customer source. The Active X controls never load when it is time to initialize the File Transfer Manager. I get this instead.
I've added microsoft.com to compatibility view settings and also tried changing to IE9 emulation with no luck. I've tried on 4 different computers all running Win7. The only one that does not give me the error is an x32 version of Win7, but it still doesn't load the Transfer Manager. The other PCs are x64 but using IE x32.

Thanks for the input. I figured this out about a week ago after MS ignored my support requests. After trying everything they suggested I searched for the offline installer and installed from that. No more issues. The real problem I have is that the error messages give absolutely no clue as to what the real problem is or how to resolve it. Ideally it should not be necessary to use FTM at all.
Hello Chad,
Thank you for your post.
I would try going to the http://transfers.ds.microsoft.com and try to install the File Transfer through that.
Thanks,
Nicole
