Is it possible to create a purchase order from a posted sales invoice? If not is the process for back to back orders using a create PO function from a sales order?

Posted sales to PO is not a standard feature. Back to back can be done using purchasing codes for drop shipment or special orders. From a sales order you can raise a purchase order too. It just doesn’t have a direct link unless you use reservations. Try this out initially: docs.microsoft.com/.../sales-how-to-create-special-orders

Hi, If you really want to do this customization, I think you can refer to the Create Purchase Orders and Create Purchase Invoices on the sales order.
