Item tracking issue

Hello all,
I am working with production orders and I have a problem during item tracking lots of raw materials consumption in production journal.
For Example I have a production order that produces 100 pieces in 2 lots (output LOT1 of 40 pieces and LOT2 of 60 pieces)
The first lot LOT1 uses a component that has MP1 lot while LOT2 uses the same component with MP2 lot.
When I use the page 'item tracking' to analyze the origin of LOT1, the system displays both lots MP1 and MP2. Same thing if I check LOT2.
Is there a way to link consumption of lot MP1 to output LOT1 and the Consumption of lot MP2 to output lot LOT2?

Thanks in advance

    Crisie,

I took your example and it is possible if I enter my Output and Consumption, on the Production Journal, by Lot creation. Here are some images:

    Item Tracing:

Drill into the ILE Lines to see how my Output Lot points to the Consumption Lot:

You should try this in your Sandbox as a test. It will produce the results you expect.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve

    Hi Steve,

I would have preferred to use only 'item traking' to verify the lots traceability  without drilling into ILE

    Thank you for your answer.
