Will GP 2010 track small assets (computer, etc)?

We need to track small assets (computer, monitors, printer,etc).  Will Dymanics GP 2010 do this?  We would like to use barcode labels to do this.  Will GP 2010 support this or do we need a third party package that will interface with GP for inventory reconciliation?

    If you have the fixed assets module you should be able to do this tracking.  You will need a third party if you want to be able to read a bar code.  There are some great ones out there.  In fact one of the products you can actually print a report with their bar codes on the report so you can do a scan match when you are doing an audit count.  Previously was from a company called Schedler Solutions out of Chicago.  I know they recently merged with another ISV. Does anyone out there know who the ISV is that has the product now?

    Susan is correct, you can use Dynamics GP to track your fixed assets but you will need a 3rd party product to create and read barcodes.  Have a look at PanaTrack www.panatrack.com.  They can supply the hardware and software for bar code scanning.
