12Hi everyone,
I’m running into an issue when trying to enable both the Sales Credit Limit Workflow and the Sales Order Approval Workflow in Business Central SaaS, and I’m hoping someone has found a clean way to handle this.
Scenario:
- I have a business requirement to:
- Enforce credit limit checks using the standard Sales Credit Limit workflow, and
- Require sales order approval using the standard Sales Order Approval workflow.
Both workflows are based on the Sales Header table and use similar (or identical) entry‑point criteria. When I try to enable both workflows, I receive the following error:
One or more entry-point steps exist that use the same event on table Sales Header. You must specify unique event conditions on entry-point steps that use the same table.
From what I can tell, Business Central does not allow two workflows with the same entry‑point event and overlapping conditions on the same table.
Has anyone successfully enabled both workflows together without custom development?
My preference would be to accomplish this by modifying an existing workflow but also interested in hearing other approaches as well (ie power automate, development)
Any guidance, examples, or real‑world approaches would be greatly appreciated.
