BusinessUnit With Id = {ID} Does Not Exist

Hi all,

In my MS Dynamics CRM 365 organization I'm getting a pretty strange error when trying to create records of a custom entity. Basically, after clicking on "Save" I get the following error:

record-is-unavalable.png

After downloading the error log, I see that the error is:

BusinessUnit With Id = {ID} Does Not Exist

The thing here is that I've disabled all plugins and Scripts related and I'm keep getting the same error. Also, I'm logged as System admin, so priviledges shouldn't be the problem.

Any workarounds?

Thanks in advance!

    Hello Enrique.

First, please verify that you really have disabled all plug-ins, js-files or workflows on your entity.

Second, can you post the complete error message?

Third, do you have checked the Event Viewer on your server?

    Kind regards,

    Karsten

    Hi,

from my point of you still have some code running somewhere.

Like finding a businessunit or set a businessunit.

I am pretty sure of it because of the "{ID}" in the error message, because you should normally have more somthing like BusinessUnit With Id = {CDEF7890-ABCD-1234-ABCD-1234567890AB} Does Not Exist

So as Karsten said please be sure to disable all the plugin, workflows, js files, business rules,...

    Hi,

is this happening all of a sudden on existing solution which was working fine earlier? or did you imported your solution to a new org and now trying to create some master configuration. Please check for the GUID which may be in any code "on Save".

    Thanks,

    Kamaldeep

Hello. Following up with this issue, it was not related to any customization such as a plugin or JS, this was an integration issue regarding special characters(Pretty strange as well). We just had to remove them and everything started to work fine. Thanks to all for your answers!
