I can't find any documentation on CustomerSource for this error message. Anyone have any clues? I have reconciled the item.

I have seen cases where the user entered the wrong serial number on receiving and when trying to sell the item would get this message. Is this possible? If you look at a list of serial numbers recorded for the item is your serial number listed?
Another place this happens is if you switch through SQL and item from not tracked to tracked and the original serial number did not get issued.
Have you run checklinks and reconcile on inventory?
Thanks for the quick reply Richard. The serial number is correct and it is listed in the serial numbers available. We have not changed anything with SQL. I reconciled this item but have not run check links.
I dont remember, are you using manufacturing?
