Hi All,

Is there a way to assign the same raw material to different Production Boms on the item card?

For eg

Raw material A001 is used in the manufacturing process for FG001, FG002

I have the same question (0)

Yes, generally you'll have a Production BOM for each Finished Good.  In your example, there would be a Prod. BOM FG001 and a Prod. BOM FG002.  Each Finished Good Item Card would have their corresponding Prod. BOM listed in the Replenishment Tab.  The two Production BOMs would likely contain different Items, but also likely have some overlapping raw materials.  Both BOMs could have Item A001 as one of the needed raw materials in the BOM, as well as different quantities.

You can also go to Item Card for A001 and use the "Where Used" functionality to see all the BOMs the raw material is used in.

Hi, If you want convenient feature, such as selecting an item (A001) and then selecting two finished products (FG001, FG002), the system will automatically add BOM. Unfortunately, as far as I know, this feature does not exist in the standard. If you consider customization, this can be done.

Hope this can give you some hints.
    Thanks.
