Reset Payroll Vacation and Sick Time Information option is hidden

Dear All,

I'm trying to reset the sick time for specific group of emp's and I don't  see the option "Reset Payroll Vacation and Sick Time Information" under Human Resources>>Reconcile window.  Not sure updating it under Payroll>>mass modify would be sufficient. We are on version GP 2010 SP4 and Using both HR and Payroll module. I dont see any setup to enable it either. Can someone please help.

    In order to see this Jothi, I think you need to have the Accrue option set to Human Resource.  Go to Tools | Setup | HR | Attendance Setup.

    Mark Accrue Type of HR

    Now go to the reconcile window and it will be there.

    Make a back-up and watch what it is clearing, here is more information.

    Then flip your Accrue type back.

    Reset Payroll Vacation and Sick Time

    Mark this option to automatically clear payroll information. The following Human Resources windows and information will be affected. This option is available only if you're using Payroll.

    Employee Vacation-Sick Time Maintenance window

    For vacation and sick time, the accrue and available balance warning options in this window are unmarked and all field values become zero.

    Employee Class window

    The vacation and sick time accrual options in this window are unmarked.

    Pay Code Setup window

    The vacation and sick time accrual options in this window are unmarked.

    Employee Pay Code Maintenance window

    The vacation and sick time accrual options in this window are unmarked.

    Hi Terry,

    My sincere thanks and appreciate your response.

    I was able to see the option after I followed the steps above.

    Here we don't accrue the sick time but only the vacation time, So now I believe that the best option to reset just the sick time( to 24 Hrs Fixed) is to use the Payroll>>Utilities>>Mass update. Since it was prompting me to update it through HR module, I was looking for that option.
